310 Running Invitational #2, held on August 22nd at the Humberview track in Bolton, promised to build off of the success of the inaugural meet held the week before. It did not disappoint.
The second meet allowed 140+ competition starved athletes the chance to compete in a different suite of events in a safe COVID adapted format over the course of the day.
Highlights included a new National M55 record in the 800 for Jim Dyck. His time of 2:04.20 eclipsed the previous best of 2:07.10 that stood for 21 years.
The meet also featured a new National W65 best time of 56.02 in the 300 hurdles for Karla Del Grande.
Thank you to Bolton Physiotherapy, our outstanding volunteers & officials for their exceptional support.
