2023 Invitation Criteria
Welcome to the NXTCHAMP Invitational
Participation in this meet will be by invitation only. This is how we select:
Categories:
U16 Male & Female
U18 Male & Female
U20 Male & Female
Invitations will be based on:
Medalling at the 2022 NXTCHAMP Invitational
Top performances recorded in the 2022 outdoor/2023 indoor Athletics Canada rankings
• indoor results will be converted based on AO standards
• similar events will be converted based on AO or NXTCHAMP standards
Meet Director’s discretion
The maximum number athletes will depend on the competitiveness of the field as measured against average OFSAA results
Invitations will be posted on Instagram starting March 18, 2022.
Athletes will have until April 3, 2022 to register after they receive their invitation. If an athlete does not register, we will open that spot up to the next athlete on the list in the second round of invitations.
