
Two 310 Running athletes added their names to the record books at Provincial Championships on consecutive weekends.
At the Athletics Ontario Bantam/Midget/Youth Provincial Championships held in Brampton, Aysia Maurice set the U15 record for the Midget girls 1500m steeplechase. Aysia nailed down her third gold medal of the meet by running a personal best time 5:09.17, shattering the old record of 5:11.24.
Maddie Spadzinski posted a new U12 record in the 200m hurdles at the Minor Track Association Provincial Championships in Etobicoke. Her gold medal time of 29.70 seconds was a personal best that beat the old record by .18 seconds.

310 Running’s competitive outdoor track & field and & spring recreational programs begin on Thursday April 27th.
The spring session will focus predominantly on running, both mid-distance & sprints, but will also include specialized training in sprint & intermediate hurdles, steeplechase, high jump & horizontal jumps for interested athletes.

310 Running & Burlington Legion will be co-hosting the Minor Track Association Indoor Championships on April 9 – 10 at York University.
The MTA Indoor Championships attracts more than 600 of the best track & field athletes from all over Ontario between the ages of 7 and 14. It is the largest 14U indoor track meet in Canada.
Club athletes have the opportunity to compete in running events ranging from 60m to 1500m as well as hurdles, relays, race walking, high jump, long jump, triple jump & shot put.
The MTA is the organizing body for 14U track & field in Ontario.
A handful of 310 athletes got a quick jump on their outdoor season at the Guelph Twilight Meet on May 6.
Charlotte Barber got things rolling with a 13 second PB in the 1500. Her 5:06.76 earned her a spot in the Junior High School Mile at the New Balance National meet in Greensboro, NC.
James Cromack dropped 10 seconds off his previous best 1500 time coming in at 4:19.96
In the 800, Karson Proulx knocked 3 seconds off his PB with a 2:13.00 while Simon Quann, Liam Jordan & Ali Jordan all clocked season bests.
